What's in my make up bag?..

Me and make up go way back... From the black pencil liner and silver and lilac eyeshadow at age 14 to the current contoured face and smoky eye it has been quite a three year journey. I first got into make up properly from watching youtube videos like Tanya Burr, Zoella, Lauren Curtis, Sprinkle Of Glitter, etc. After a while I was hooked and it wasn't long before I was spending all my money on various brushes, eyeshadows and too many lipsticks... I'm going to insert this meme here that I found hilarious because it's actually exactly what happened in my make up collection :p ...

1. So the first thing in my make up bag is *insert drumroll here* my Naked 1 palette. Now I know this is a bit bulky but ohmigod it is the best thing ever. I honestly can create almost every make up look I want and even though I've used it constantly for over a year there is no sign of it touching pan. Not only that but the colours last so well even without a primer and they're such a gorgeous consistency. Also I tend not to wear much if any make up on a day to day basis so i never really carry my make up bag around with me so I find it perfect and so much easier than lot of single eyeshadows. I have greeny blue eye and I find the Naked 1 palette perfect for this.

2. The next thing is my L'oreal true match foundation in the shade Golden Beige. I love this foundation especially in the summer when, all out faces are a little bit more, let's say "dewy" 😜 . It gives a gorgeous flawless medium coverage that can be built up and drys slightly matte. After summer my go to foundation for day and night is the Chanel Vitalumière. To be honest I found it difficult to get much use out of this in the summer because it was just too oily for my skin but I am loving it again now and it's definitely helping to battle my post summer blues. It gives your skin a beautiful glow and I've never tried any other foundation that gives such a gorgeous dewy finish.

3. My next staple is my Rimmel stay matte powder. This does exactly what it says on the tin and thanks to the recommendation of the gorgeous Tanya Burr I am now officially hooked.

4. Fourthly is my Collection bronzer in matte. To be honest I don't find this amazing as it is slightly orangey but it does help to define my sadly non existent  cheek bones.

5. Next is my Fab Bobbi Brown shimmer brick. I love this and it's so handy for a make up bag because it works as a blusher and a highlighter at the same time. Mine is in the colour Rose and I adore it.

6. My go to eyebrow kit is my Mac omega eyeshadow which is the perfect colour for my blondey browny eyebrows and I use it with my mac 266 brush. I love using eyeshadow to define my eyebrows and with this brush I find it so easy. It gives a much softer look than a pencil or wax but yet you can still make them quite defined.

7. Finally my eyeliners of choice. I am yet to find a liquid eyeliner I love so at the moment I have been using my rimmel scandal eyes black pencil and my soap and glory super cat eyeliner pen. Scandal eyes does not budge which is so hard to find with a pencil and I find eyeliner pens so easy to use compared to liquid eyeliner!

8. My favourite mascara atm is the Clinique high impact mascara which I actually got free last in last months copy of glamour I think and I love it. It really helps to volumise my quite short and stubby eyelashes.

9. My favourite go to lip products are the maybelline baby lips in the colour pink punch for ultra moisturised slightly pink tinted lips, Tanya burr lipgloss in picnic in the park, and my Mac pure zen lipstick.

9. Last of all are my brushes. I can't live without my real techniques Expert face brush for foundation, my Mica cosmetics powder brush for powder, and my mac 217 for eyeshadow and 266 for eyebrows. I use an essence bronzer brush for bronzer, a real techniques deluxe crease brush for concealer, a a random blusher brush haha and I always carry round an extra blending brush, in this case a real techniques base shadow brush.
